ORIGIN | CLEARWATER, FLORIDA

COURSE | SALAD

SERVINGS | 1

A comfort dish for the Kovarik and Van Hook (mother’s maiden name) family.

This cherished comfort dish graces our table during Christmas, birthdays, or anytime the family gets together for a delicious meal. Grandma’s recipe, a lifelong favorite, truly stands the test of time. It's at its best when left to marinate overnight, and I could always tell when family was on the way when my mom prepared this salad the evening before—a cherished tradition passed down from her mother.
